Over the last month or so I've started a new craft obsession: cross-stitch. I used to do cross-stitch as a kid, and wanted to try it again after seeing a cute vintage one in an old magazine. Unfortunately, the magazine didn't come with the pattern, so I decided to have a go at making my own!
As well as nostalgic, I find cross-stitching so therapeutic! Plus now I have a box full of colourful threads!
I started to look for a cute vintage frame from the op-shops but then opted for a more modern wooden frame instead. I really love how it turned out, and I think the wooden frame is perfect for it. If you would like to have a go at this cute cross-stitch diy, then you can find the pattern I made HERE. I would love to see your finished cross-stitch, so be sure to use #roseryappareldiy! x
PS. I used a wooden embroidery hoop but it left horrible crease marks that I can't iron out, so maybe use a hoop that's a fair bit bigger than the frame you intend to use so you can't see the creases. If you have any alternatives to embroidery hoops please let me know!
